About this test
The therascreen BRAF V600E RGQ PCR Kit is an in vitro diagnostic, allele-specific real-time PCR assay for qualitative detection of the BRAF V600E mutation in DNA extracted from formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded tumor tissue. Used on the Rotor-Gene Q instrument, it reports mutation detected or not detected to establish BRAF V600E status and inform use of BRAF-directed treatment strategies.
